Cyber 4.0, the Highly Specialized National Competence Center on Cybersecurity promoted and co-financed by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, organizes the 1st edition of the Cyber 4.0 Forum on 6 and 7 June 2023, in the Aula Magna of the Sapienza University of Rome.
The Forum is designed to be a reference event for the community of innovation and skills in the field of cybersecurity and to represent an opportunity for the Center to interact with its institutional counterparts – national and international – and its partners in the private sector and the world of research.
Developing its action in the wake of the National Cybersecurity Strategy and the institutional mandate attributed by MIMIT to support companies and public administration for a secure digital transition, Cyber 4.0 is today a reference interlocutor for the development of skills and operational capabilities in the field of cybersecurity.
Numerous are the initiatives that have been developed in these first years of activity, from specialized training to technological orientation, from the promotion of industrial research to awareness actions, from support to the development of the national cyber industry to international networking activities.
In this moment of further growth of the Centre’s operations, the event aims to be a point of connection between what has been done up to now and what the Center intends to do in the near future.
The Cyber 4.0 Forum is aimed at:
Cyber 4.0 is the highly specialized National Competence Center for cyber security promoted and co-financed by MIMIT, born within the framework of the Industry 4.0 program, and now also the implementing body of the PNRR on behalf of the Ministry.
Launched in 2020 and operational since the end of 2021, the Competence Center is a non-profit association that brings together a leading public-private partnership at national level, involving more than 40 members, including universities, public bodies, large companies, SMEs, foundations and other representative bodies of specific sectors.
The objective of the Center is to support policy makers, businesses and the PA on a growth path towards secure digitalisation, supporting their digital transition and enhancing operational skills and capabilities in the field of cyber security, providing >training and guidance programmes, providing highly specialized services and funding research and innovation projects.
