PAOLO SPAGNOLETTI

Full Professor, LUISS University “Guido Carli”
Associate Professor of Business Organization at the Department of Business and Management at Luiss University and Professor of Digital Business and Data Privacy and Security. At Luiss Schools, he is director of Masters and executive courses in the area of digital innovation and governance, including the Master in Cybersecurity.
He is a member of the Research Center on Leadership, Innovation and Organization (CLIO) of Luiss where he is scientific director of research projects funded by national and international bodies and companies. He is a member of the coordination and management committee of the Cyber 4.0 Competence Center. He is visiting professor at the Department of Information Systems of the University of Agder where he collaborates with the Center for Integrated Emergency Management (ICES). He graduated in Electronic Engineering at Sapienza University and obtained his PhD in Business Information Systems at Luiss University in 2007 after serving as an Officer in charge of the General Command of the Carabinieri from 2001 to 2004.
He has held teaching and research positions at the Universities of Agder, Warwick, Georgia State, St. Gallen, Paris Dauphine, Lausanne, SKEMA and London School of Economics and Political Science. His research interests concern the design and governance of digital platforms and digital resilience. He is the author of numerous articles published in important international journals such as JIT, JSIS, I&M and CAIS. He obtained the National Scientific Qualification as a Full Professor in the SECS-P/10 sector.
