DIRECTOR, REGIONAL DIRECTORATE FOR EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT POLICIES, LAZIO REGION
Graduated in Law at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” she practiced law in civil, administrative and community law. From 2001 to 2004 he taught at the University of Rome La Sapienza – Faculty of Letters and Philosophy – Degree Course in Education Sciences for the subject “European Union Policies and Equal Opportunities”.
Through competition she was hired by the Lazio Region where she held various top positions in the field of procurement, tourism, work, education and vocational training.
Since 2012 she has been Director of the Training and Employment Department of the Lazio Region, as well as Managing Authority of the European Social Fund and carries out the activities required by EU regulations regarding the programming, design, management, monitoring, evaluation and control of the Fund’s resources and related co-financing.
It has contributed to expanding the regional intervention on the theme of people with fragility / vulnerability (including people with disabilities), in order to achieve an “integrated care”, aimed at the realization of work paths and social inclusion, and implemented interventions for people far from the labor market, with the need for specific measures to increase basic skills, measures dedicated to disadvantaged women, in particular unemployed and jobseekers, with care burdens hindering participation in the labour market and with priority given to single mothers, fragile and more difficult to place in work (e.g. without a secondary or primary school diploma, ex-prisoners, mature workers over 55), young NEETs under 30 years of age, neither employed nor in education or training.
