Full Professor, Campus Biomedico University
Full Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome where he also holds the role of Delegate of the Rector for Cybersecurity.
He is Director of the second level University Master in Homeland Security (now in its sixteenth edition).
He holds the position of expert at the Office of the Military Advisor of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers on the subject of Critical Infrastructures.
He is the Director of NITEL – National Inter-University Consortium for Transport and Logistics of which he was a member of the Board of Directors from 2012 to 2018.
He is currently the coordinator of the DRIVERS research projects on emerging risks in the energy sector and ISC on cyber security of machine tools, both funded by INAIL. He has been the coordinator of 4 European projects and has participated as head of a research unit in over 20 national and international research projects.
He is the author of 9 volumes published in English and over 300 scientific papers published in scientific journals or presented at international conferences.
He is Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Critical Infrastructure Protection published by Elsevier.
